We are a community-based advocacy and activist group created in response to the election and appointment of Donald Trump as the President of the United States. Based out of Ingleside and the Sunset District in San Francisco, our aims are to resist and defeat bigoted, racist, homophobic, sexist and anti-progressive policies or executive orders enacted by the Trump administration.
The outcome of the 2016 election not only shocked us all, but ultimately left us with the overwhelming feeling of despair, loss, frustration and fear. The unprecedented win led us to discover a degree of racism, sexism, bigotry and homophobia that we’d thought was largely a thing of the past. So, in the face of destructive change and socio-political regression, we have created this community organization as both a support group and means to resist, get active and enact positive change.
Our group currently coincides and works with the larger Indivisible activist network, whose activism guide and directory you can find on our resources page.
What do we do?
In response to the Trump administration, our group hosts monthly meetings and events in which we discuss both individual and group practices that utilize peaceful resistance techniques and processes.
